We are the founding members of the industry’s first installers trade association and the developers of a 6 hour certification course, widely adopted industry installation standards, guidelines and we had an integral hand in the development of several commercially available product lines and new, multi-toned & fiber styles.

Our community support – from free installations at our local fairgrounds & rescue kennels to serving as industry installation specialists training new installers, writing and publishing industry standard guidelines – we’ve even served as expert witness for new industry specific legislation – we’ve been continuous INDUSTRY – CONSUMER ADVOCATES – Passionate about our market!
We helped shepherd the California legislation (AB349/2015) that made artificial grass OK to use in residential housing markets; voiding the bans of use, especially in the front yard!
Market BREAKTHROUGH – As of September 2015 – HOAs can no longer ban the use of artificial grass in California! After 10 years – 3 pieces of legislation vetoed by sitting governors – with the help of the Metropolitan Water District and the final push of effort, shepherded by Assembly Member Lorena Gonzales – Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 349 into law.
We served as expert witnesses and helped coordinate efforts to over-ride the ban of artificial grass voiding any restrictions by your HOA. HOA committees still have the ability to define use by guidelines, published in your architectural specifications – however – if your California HOA used to ban the use of artificial grass as of 2015 (such as not allowing front lawns), they can no longer do that!
Thanks to 10 years of collective efforts of the Metropolitan Water District, the California House and Senate bill sponsors, and the help of Annie speaking as an industry expert – we were happy to have helped to get new legislation passed that immediately voided all the HOA, County and City bans while also helping establish solid install guidelines. Many state and local HOA groups have adopted the industry installation guidelines Annie created for use by installers, world-wide, in 2007. We are proud that our work has been embraced, adopted and adapted!
